Hey everyone,

I’ve been busy the past few days making some major changes! I’ve rebranded the comic strip from “Flash!” at mydogflash.net to ” Mixed Brood” at mixedbrood.com. For those of you scratching your head thinking-what’s a brood?- I’ve included short definitions below.

“Mixed” : “Made up of or involving individuals of more than one kind.”

“Brood” : “Group having a common nature or origin.”

Seems fitting for a storyline about two beagles and a goose, don’t you think?  Also, the RSS feed for the strip has changed to: Mixed Brood

Just got back from Day 1 of the Emerald City Comicon. Pretty exciting stuff! I’ve never been to one so I didn’t really know what to expect. There were huge crowds that’s for sure (more than I would have expected given this was the first sunny day in Seattle in over two weeks!). Well worth it though. The main highlight for me was small-talking with the group from Halfpixel.com at their highly-trafficked display: Dave Kellett, Scott Kurtz, Brad Guigar, and Kris Straub…Got lots of merchandise to peruse and enjoy! Dave Kellett even took a moment to sketch good wishes to the Mixed Brood crew in his “A Blizzards of Lizards book.” Nice touch Dave! Flash, Goose, and Barney thank you!

A very unexpected but HUGELY appreciated write-up from the webcomic editors at Fleen…a pleasant surprise indeed!
